From 2015-2017, I was a co-owner and operator of a shipping-container bar in Urbana, IL. This video is a self-portrait of sorts that I shot on my last day working behind the bar. I guess it was kind of a way to process my conflicting feelings about entrepreneurship and race in the Midwest and leaving to start a new chapter.
