My Love Grows with You

My great uncle, Lolo Els, passed away on December 17, 2018 in Los Angeles, CA. I wasn't able to attend the funeral, but I have been thinking of him and all he has meant to our family. He was the first family member on my mom’s side to come to the US making it possible for the rest of his family to be reunited there. Lydia and I wrote this song about a year ago after a visit with him as we reflected on his declining health, our experience of family, and the process of growing up and getting older. We miss him, but thankful for his life and his deep love for our family.
