Sing Hallelujah to the Lord
The images and audio documented here are a visual diary of July 28, 2019 in Hong Kong from my particular vantage points. It begins with the preparation song at church that morning. The congregation sang “Sing Hallelujah to the Lord” - a hymn that has become an anthem for many protestors. I recorded the song from the service and overlaid it with images from the protests later in the day. This Sunday marks eight weeks straight of protests in Hong Kong calling for the permanent withdrawal of the government’s controversial extradition bill.
